He thanks for the invitation to the concert in favor of the Union of sisters of mercy
and apologizes for not being able to attend the concert. Requests to take ‘contribution
to the Fund of the Union.’
Aleksinskaya (nee. Evtikhieva) Tatiana (1886-1968) - memoirist, essayist and public
figure. Wife of G. A. Aleksinsky. A certificated nurse, during the World war I she
was working in a medical train at the front, then in a surgical hospital in Moscow. In
1919 she emigrated to Paris. She organized aid to Russian soldiers mobilized into the
French army. She had collected a large archive of Russian emigration.
