Letter dated 1930 requesting the Rabbi of Somlyo to obtain the shadchanus fee due to R. Mordechai Lebel from R. Isaac Hirsch.
Rabbi Moshe David Teitelbaum 1855-1935), son of Rabbi Yisrael Yakov Yukel – Rabbi of Volove, and son-in-law of Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Halberstam of Dukla. Studied under his maternal grandfather – the Yetev Lev of Sighet. Rabbi in Sanz, and (from 1882) Rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva in Lapash. Emigrated to America, where he was known as the Rebbe of Volove.
Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich (1863-1944), grandson and disciple of Rabbi Avraham Yehuda Schwartz – author of Kol Aryeh, Rabbi of Szikso (1888), Csaba (1892) and Somlyo (1899) where he headed a large Yeshiva and was greatly respected. Author of Lechem Shlomo and 30 unpublished manuscripts - lost after his murder in the Holocaust.
