Rabbi Pinchas Halevy Horowitz (1731-1805), son of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Chortkow and brother of Rabbi Shmelka of Nikolsburg. Both brothers were disciples of the Maggid of Mezherich. Rabbi of Frankfurt. Author of several important rabbinic works, including Sefer Hafla’ah for which he is most famous.
Rabbi Pinchas Stein (b. 1830), prominent disciple of the Ksav Sofer. Rabbi of Törökszentmiklós. Author of Kinas Pinchas.
