Published from a manuscript in the library of Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech Shapira of Dynow, with his notes. Approbations by Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz and Rabbi Yosef Shaul Natanson of Lvov (who writes that this manuscript was treasured by the Rebbe of Dynow to such an extent that he would take it with him on all his travels).

Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech Shapira of Dynow (1783-1841), great-nephew of the Noam Elimelech of Lizhensk, and disciple of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rymanow and Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak – the Chozeh of Lublin. Rabbi of Stryzhev, Rybaticz, Lanzut, Munkacz and Dynow. Author of many important chassidic works, but principally known for his Benei Yissaschar.
