Bidspirit auction | Collection of African Carved Wooden

Collection of African Carved Wooden Tribal & Souvenir Ware, Masks, Animals & Musical Instruments - A varied collection of predominantly African carved wooden decorative and ethnographic-style items, including two carved masks, numerous animal figures including antelope/gazelle, giraffe, elephants and tortoise, together with a small skin-topped drum, percussion/instrument pieces and other carved curios. Also includes a vintage mantel clock incorporated within a carved giraffe-form surround. Predominantly 20th century and likely comprising a mixture of tourist/souvenir wares rather than pieces that can safely be attributed to specific tribal traditions without provenance.
