Antique-Style Wooden Open Bookcase Containing a Large Collection of Victorian & Vintage Books, Including Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton & Children's Annuals - A substantial dark-stained wooden open bookcase with moulded cornice, five shelves and plinth base, containing a large collection of antique and vintage hardback books, predominantly dating from the late 19th to mid-20th century. The collection includes a matching group of leather-effect bound works by Charles Dickens, alongside numerous illustrated children's books, school stories, annuals, literary classics and mythology titles. Books are of varying ages and editions, with decorative pictorial cloth bindings, gilt lettering and illustrated covers throughout. The bookcase displays surface scratches, scuffs and general wear consistent with age and use. Books are in mixed condition, with varying degrees of rubbing, foxing, discolouration, loose or worn bindings and other age-related imperfections. Editions, completeness and individual contents have not been fully collated. Bookshelf measure 150cm high, 23cm deep and 60cm wide.
