Sant Martí de Provençals, Eusebi Díaz Costa (Oix, Garrotxa, 1909 — la Bisbal d'Empordà, Baix Empordà, 1964), Catalan school of the 20th century
Oil on canvas, measurements: 81 x 65 cm. Disciple of Joan Colom, he began his artistic activity as a landscape painter. He was awarded at the Venice Biennale (1941) and at the Cannes International Exhibition (1955). From 1950 he settled in Bisbal d'Empordà, where he dedicated himself to the production of artistic ceramics, inspired by traditional Catalan forms. He has works in the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona. Origin: private collection of Catalan painting.
