[3], 131 leaves, 22 cm. Owner's notation and stamps of Rabbi Menashe Marilos of Botoshan and his son Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Marilos. Listed on the back of the title page are names and birthdates of Rabbi Menashe's sons. Notations in a foreign language on the back flyleaf.
The holy Rav Rabbi Menashe Marilos, the son of the Admor of Buchecha Rabbi Eliezer Ze'ev a disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. rabbi Menashe succeeded his father as Rav and Admor, passing away in 1948.
Rabbi Yitzchak Meir ben Rabbi Menashe Marilos (born in Adar 1904) - Av Beis Din of Bucharest. His comments on the margins of Sefer Yad Yosef were published in Kuntres Mayim Rabim. A great Gaon. A year after his passing, he was brought to rest on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, his body found to be complete.
Worn, partly dismantled binding, detached title page, the last leaf is attached to the partly detached binding, stains, fair condition.
