Middle Kingdom, 12th-11th Dynasty, 2055-1650 BC
A substantial carved wooden figurine of a squatting boatman wearing a white kilt, painted facial detailing and black hair; hollow sockets for separate arm inserts. 83 grams, 16cm (6 1/4"). Fine condition.
