Grand Tour Ring with Hieroglyphs
19th-20th century AD
A wooden ring with wide D-section shank, oval-shaped flat bezel engraved with three hieroglyphs. 7.1 grams, 27.73mm overall, 19.67mm internal diameter (approximate size British S 1/2, USA 9 1/4, Europe 20.63, Japan 19) (1"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Ex Zandwijk collection; previously with in the collection of Dr. Lammers, Hamburg, Germany, since before 1966.
