Western Asiatic Carved Bull's Head Pendant
1st millennium BC
A carved limestone bull's head with exaggerated scaphoid eyes, sockets for separate horns, enamelled triangle to the brow, attachment socket to the underside. 14 grams, 27mm (1"). Fine condition.
Provenance
From the private collection of a North West London lady; previously with a central London gallery; formerly acquired before 1990.
