10th-12th century AD
A carved sandstone bust of Buddha with segmented headdress, raised brow arches developing to a prominent nose, heavy-lidded eyes, full lips and a short square chin; mounted on a custom-made stand. 10.8 kg, 38cm including stand (15"). Fine condition, top of head chipped. [No Reserve]
