Obv: diademed bust to edge of flan facing right with +COENVVL[F RE]X M legend with Mercian M. Rev: pincer cross with pellet in centre and wedges in angles and within limbs with [BIO]RNFRED MONETA legend with NE ligated for the moneyer Beornferth at Canterbury mint. 1.00 grams. Near as struck; chipped and cracked. Extremely rare.
