BMC type iiia. Obv: profile bust with sceptre with +ÆÐELRÆDREXANGLOX legend. Rev: short voided cross with C R V X in angles and +LEOFSTANM-OCÆNT legend for the moneyer Leofstan at Canterbury mint. 2.79 grams total (coin 1.61 grams), card 55 x 20mm. Good very fine; Viking peck marks to obverse.
