Middle Bronze Age, circa 2000-1600 B.C. Comprising: two with globular body, broad neck and flared rim, pierced lugs to the shoulders, bands of incised hatching; one with rounded underside, broad neck and everted rim, pierced lugs to the shoulder, horizontal broken lines and zigzags. Cf. Morris, D., The Art of ancient Cyprus, Oxford, 1985, fig. p.67, pls.101-102, for similar. 1.27 kg total, 9.7-15 cm (3 3/4 - 5 7/8 in.).

From a collection acquired on the UK art market from various auction houses and collections mostly before 2000.From an important Cambridgeshire estate; thence by descent.
