Responsa from the great acharonim are printed in this sefer: Rav Yonasan Eibeschitz, the Pnei Yehoshua, the Knesses Yechezkel, the Shev Yaakov and others.
On title page is stamp of the renowned officer- Rav Daniel Yaffe of Berlin (5483-5559). In his Beis Medrash that he funded in Berlin there was a large library; and many gedolim learned there, including Rav Menachem Mendel of Rymanow and the Pri Megadim, who authored his sefer- Sefer Pri Megadim- right in the abovementioned Beis Medrash. He writes in his introduction: "Great acclaim and applause to the high renowned Gvir, honorable Rav Daniel Yaffe of Berlin, who volunteered and took from his funds a certain amount, and supports Torah learners in his Beis Medrash; I, too, have affixed my place here in his Beis Medrash,
where I found a house filled with sefarim, and I have...on this sefer; may Hashem repay him for his good deeds."
