Two Sefarim Printed in Shanghai: Taharas Yisrael/Beis Yisrael.
1. Taharas Yisrael- Novellae and commentary on the Rambam, Sefer Tahara by Rav Yisrael Feigenbaum of Lodz. One of the students of the Mir Yeshiva which evacuated to Shanghai.
Shanghai 5706 [1946]
In his introduction, he mourns the 'glory of the house of Israel which has fallen to the sword', and he calls out to everyone to increase in Torah learning, as a merit to the 'bones which are laid out on the fields of מיידאנעק in front of the sun's eyes, with no voice...'

2. Beis Yisrael- Novellae in gemara and poskim- rishonim and acharonim regarding 'kinyenay Ishus', by Rav Yisrael Zalman Shlomowitz.
Shanghai 5706 [1946] Copy print of Vilna publishing, with approbations from Rav Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, Rav Baruch Ber Leibowitz and Rav Isser Zalman Meltzer. [2] 50 pages, 15 pages, this last group of pages is a second publishing of Kuntress 'Chidushei Torah' from the above author- which he would discourse in the Beis Medrash in Lodz. Good condition.
