Divrei Noam- The Renowned Story Behind Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef

When the first important chassidic sefer- Toldos Yaakov Yosef Mezhbizh, 5540 reached the hands of the Gaon Rav Yechezkel Landau- author of the Noda Biyehuda, he (at first) said that it should be burned; but then, the author- Rav Yaakov Yosef of Polonne appeared in a dream to his disciple- Rav Yaakov Shimshon of Shepetivka and requested of him to travel to the Noda Biyehuda. Rav Yaakov Shimshon disguised himself as a pauper and traveled to Prague.
Most of the pages in this booklet describe the conversation between the pauper and the Noda Biyehuda.
At the end, there is a description of the wondrous Torah drasha of the pauper, which continued over a course of ten days- all who heard it were blown away by such a wondrous drasha. Afterward, the Noda Biyehuda asked the pauper: W hat is his request; why did he come and who is he?
Rav Yaakov Shimshon answered-  The honorable Rav should know, that I am the smallest of the small of the author of Toldos Yaakov Yosef'...s group of disciples. One can understand the great sharpness of mind and breadth of knowledge which a medium-level disciple has [since it is much greater than mine- the weakest of the disciples], and from both of us- one can understand the great sharpness of mind and breadth of knowledge of the greatest and closest disciples of the Toldos Yaakov Yosef, and from us all- one can understand the great sharpness of mind and breadth of wisdom of the Toldos Yaakov Yosef himself. And we heard that the Rav of Prague wants to burn it; therefore I have come here, to let it be known exactly what kind of person the honorable Rav's opponent is.
When the Noda Biyehuda heard this- he picked up Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef and kissed it.

Later on in the booklet is the story of Yeshurun- which occurred in 5383 in Dubrovnik (Ragusa), which is brought at the end of sefer Zkan Aharon.
