ספרו המפורסם של רבי אברהם דאנציג.
הספר "חיי אדם" נחשב כספר הפסיקה הנחשב ביותר במזרח אירופה, עד התפשטות הספר משנה ברורה. ברחבי ליטא ובלארוס התקיימו בריכוזים היהודיים חבורות מיוחדות בשם "חיי אדם", שמטרתם לימוד משותף, בדרך כלל עם רב או מגיד שיעור בספר "חיי אדם" הלכה למעשה. בערים רבות היו אפילו בתי כנסת מיוחדים - "קלויז חיי אדם".
