הקדשת המחבר להרב אורי זוהר.
הגאון רבי משה שמואל שפירא כתב להרב אורי זוהר "המאיר לעולם בתורתו ובזוהרו" (במלים אלו רמז את שמו 'אורי' ו'זוהר').
מההקדשה של אחד מגדולי ראשי הישיבות נכרת החשיבות הרבה שהחשיבו את הרב אורי זוהר.
הגאון רבי משה שמואל שפירא [תרע"ז - תשס"ו], מגדולי ראשי הישיבות בדור הקודם, חבר מועצת גדולי התורה וממנהיגי הציבור הליטאי. למד בברנוביץ אצל רבי אלחנן וסרמן ואחרי עלייתו לארץ למד בישיבת לומזה, בשנת תש"ט מונה בהמלצת החזון איש לכהן פאר כראש ישיבת באר יעקב שבראשה עמד למעלה מיובל שנים עד לפטירתו בשנת תשס"ו. החזון איש התבטא עליו כי הוא "נשמה של עולם האצילות"!
