A Regency Style Mahogany Tilt-Top Pedestal Breakfast Table - A mahogany tilt-top breakfast table in the Regency style. The rectangular top is constructed with mahogany veneers and features rounded corners, a wide crossbanded border, and fine stringing decoration. The top is fitted with a tilt mechanism allowing it to be flipped vertically for storage. It is supported by a substantial, turned central pedestal column resting on a platform base. Four out-swept, splayed legs emerge from the platform, each terminating in a brass-capped lion's paw foot set on castors. A modern inventory sticker is present on the side edge of the table top, containing the printed characters LLH and the handwritten number 477. No maker's marks or stamps are visible.
