The collection comprises a dining table and matching chairs, including carver armchairs. The tabletop is finished with figured veneers and features elaborate floral and foliate marquetry inlay in various contrasting fruitwoods, set within a scalloped serpentine edge. The table is supported by a central carved pedestal base. The chairs feature carved wooden frames with scrollwork detailing and are upholstered in a button-tufted champagne-coloured fabric. They are raised on cabriole front legs and splayed rear legs. This style is a popular mid-century Italian export frequently referred to as Sorrento marquetry furniture. No maker marks are visible.
