A Vintage Vulcanised Fibre and Metal Bound Steamer Trunk - A mid-20th-century utility steamer trunk of rectangular form. The exterior is constructed from black-coated vulcanised fibre, reinforced by longitudinal metal bands and secured with a series of metal rivets or studs. The corners are fitted with metal reinforcement plates. The design is utilitarian, intended for heavy travel use. A small orange adhesive inventory label numbered 443 is present on the exterior. No maker marks or manufacturer stamps are visible.
