A Trio of Large-Format Volumes and Ephemera including RHS Gardeners' Encyclopedia (DJ) - This lot comprises two large-format hardcover reference books and a boxed piece of calendar ephemera. The primary volume is The Royal Horticultural Society Gardeners' Encyclopedia of Plants & Flowers, edited by Christopher Brickell. This work is a comprehensive botanical reference featuring a dark blue dust jacket illustrated with a grid of colour photographs. The second book is titled One Hundred Years of the Motor Car 1886 to 1986, a large-format hardcover with a black pictorial dust jacket depicting a range of vehicles from early horseless carriages to a modern red Audi. Included with the books is a boxed desk calendar titled The Far Side 1995 Off-the-Wall Calendar by Gary Larson, featuring his characteristic cartoon illustrations and noted as containing favorites since 1980.
