An English Decorative Ceramic Scenic Plate with Gilt Rim - A circular decorative ceramic plate featuring a scalloped edge and gilt rim. The centre is decorated with a polychrome transfer-printed scene, possibly hand-tinted, depicting a traditional English village landscape. The imagery includes half-timbered and thatched-roof cottages, a multi-arched stone bridge spanning a river, and ducks on the bank. A script signature is present to the right of the scene, possibly reading C. Dickens. This style is characteristic of British landscape series ware from the early to mid-20th century. Two adhesive stickers are attached to the front face. No manufacturer marks are visible on the reverse in the provided imagery.
