Bidspirit auction | A Collection of Late 19th

A Collection of Late 19th and Early 20th Century Clear Pressed and Etched Glass Tableware - This collection of clear glass tableware comprises several items featuring both pressed and etched decorative techniques. One deep bowl is designed in a style resembling the Early American Prescut (EAPC) patterns, featuring a heavily textured body with starburst and hobnail motifs and a pronounced ruffled, scalloped rim. The group also contains two footed comports or bowls with wide pedestal bases, scalloped petal edges, and radial ribbing to the undersides. A fourth piece is a footed bowl with a smooth rim, decorated with a delicate etched floral and foliate spray. No manufacturer marks are visible on the pieces; they are in the style of various late Victorian and early 20th-century glassmakers such as Davidson, Sowerby, or Anchor Hocking. The items are currently marked with temporary adhesive lotting labels.
