Bidspirit auction | Two Contemporary Decorative Metal Wall

Two Contemporary Decorative Metal Wall Sculptures - A lot comprising two contemporary decorative metal wall hangings. The first is a large rectangular panel constructed from black-finished metal wire and a rectangular-section frame. The openwork design depicts a stylised climbing vine with five flower heads, each featuring open wire petals and a central translucent blue-green glass cabochon boss. The design is further detailed with wire-outlined leaves throughout. The second piece is an asymmetrical abstract wall sculpture featuring various geometric shapes, including open circles, squares, triangles, and a large hammered crescent arc. Several elements show a textured, stippled finish. These shapes are interconnected by a series of arching metal rods and wire spirals in patinated bronze and copper tones. An orange adhesive label with the handwritten digits 145 is affixed to the right side of the floral panel frame and to a square element of the abstract sculpture. A small white rectangular label with the digits 33 is located on the lower frame edge of the floral panel and at the bottom of the abstract sculpture. No maker names, signatures, or manufacturer marks are readable on either piece.
