An early 20th-century oak gate-leg dining table in the Jacobean Revival style - This early 20th-century dining table is constructed from solid oak, with the top displaying prominent medullary ray figuring characteristic of quarter-sawn timber. The table features an oval top when fully extended, comprising a central rectangular fixed section and two semi-elliptical drop leaves. The base is supported by six baluster-turned legs joined by square-section stretchers, with two legs acting as gates to support the leaves. The legs terminate in simple block feet. A small yellow circular adhesive label and a small white rectangular adhesive label are present on the top surface; the text on these labels is not legible and they appear to be contemporary inventory tags.
