Mid-20th-century pink woven fiber blanket box with upholstered lid - A mid-20th-century storage ottoman or blanket box of rectangular form, featuring a body of woven fiber finished in a faded pink colour. The chest has a hinged, padded lid upholstered in a pink and cream striped fabric decorated with a repeating floral sprig pattern, secured by a row of round metal upholstery studs. Decorative braided trim borders the top and bottom of the woven section, and a central metal swing handle is mounted to the front. The piece is raised on four short wooden cabriole-style legs. A small white circular adhesive label is applied to the right side of the lid, printed with the number 7. Positioned below this is a rectangular orange adhesive label with characters that are not clearly legible. No manufacturer name, stamp, or label is visible on the item.
