A Pair of Moulded Wood-Effect Resin Figurines Depicting a Shepherd and Shepherdess - A pair of figurines constructed from a moulded composite resin material, finished with a dark brown stain to simulate the appearance of hand-carved wood. The first figure depicts an elderly, bearded man in a heavy cloak and wide-brimmed hat, cradling a lamb in his arms. The second figure represents a woman in rustic attire including a headscarf and apron; she holds a metal wire distaff with an attachment of raw white wool, while a sheep stands by her side. A small white rectangular adhesive label bearing the number 7 is affixed to the base of the male figure. A bright orange rectangular adhesive label bearing the number 45 is attached to the side of the sheep on the female figure. No maker marks, signatures, or country-of-origin stamps are visible on the surfaces of either piece.
