A Collection of English Bone China Tableware including Minton and Wedgwood Pieces - This collection of English fine bone china comprises various functional and decorative forms featuring botanical and ornithological motifs. The assortment includes a large plate with a scalloped edge and floral border, a smaller plate with a green-lined rim, a footed bowl, a square-form dish with rounded corners, a cylindrical pot with a domed lid, and two circular pin dishes presented in a dark green box. Several pieces, including the square dish and the lidded pot, are decorated in the Kutani Crane pattern, which displays a central crane amongst colourful floral sprays and bamboo. Other items feature wildflower sprays in yellow and pink. Most pieces are finished with gilded rims. A printed mark in gold on the underside of one piece features the word MEADOW above a circular laurel wreath containing the words FOUNDED MINTON 1793, with BONE CHINA and MADE IN ENGLAND printed below (photo 2). Another piece bears a printed mark in gold consisting of a black silhouette of the Portland Vase to the left of the words WEDGWOOD Bone China and MADE IN ENGLAND (photo 3). The two pin dishes in the box feature botanical designs of pink and yellow flowers. An orange adhesive label with the handwritten number 27 is attached to the lidded pot and one boxed pin dish; another orange label with the number 21 is attached to the second pin dish.
