A Collection of Vintage English Detachable Stiff Cotton Collars in a Leather Horseshoe Case - A collection of vintage detachable men's stiff collars, primarily in the turndown style, housed in a traditional horseshoe-shaped travel case. The collars are constructed from multiple layers of heavily starched white cotton. One collar features printed black text on the interior reading PATENTED AND MADE IN ENGLAND / WOVEN FROM EGYPTIAN COTTON / 731 366. Another collar bears the printed brand name VAN HEUSEN. The case is constructed from tan leather with a contrasting yellow-tan interior lining and a wrap-around leather strap. The strap secures with a metal flip-lock latch and two D-rings.
