Bidspirit auction | Two Antique Glass Kitchen Vessels

Two Antique Glass Kitchen Vessels Including a Hand Cranked Butter Churn - A pair of large clear glass domestic vessels. The first is a manual butter churn featuring a square-shouldered clear glass jar with moulded text near the base that is not clearly legible. The jar is fitted with a wide-mouth rusted metal screw-top lid. Mounted to the lid is a cast-iron manual gearing mechanism with a wooden handle, which operates a central shaft connected to internal wooden paddles. The second vessel is a large clear glass carboy or demijohn of cylindrical form. It features a short neck with two integrated loop handles and is fitted with a black screw-on plastic cap. The base of the carboy has a distinct circular moulded indentation. Both items retain multiple adhesive labels, including orange price stickers and white rectangular labels with the numeral 9, which are not original to the manufacture of the items. No legible maker's names are present on either piece.
