A large studio stoneware cylindrical vase with thick white glaze - A tall cylindrical stoneware vase, hand-thrown in a coarse, speckled buff-coloured clay body. The exterior features a prominent, thick white glaze or slip applied vertically to approximately one-third of the upper portion, terminating in a broad, rounded drip effect. This glaze exhibits significant iron speckling or pyrite blooms, where minerals from the underlying clay have reacted during the firing process. The interior is finished with a similar white glaze. The rim is rounded and slightly irregular, characteristic of artisan production. No signatures or potter's marks are visible on the upper body or interior of the vessel; the base is not shown. Two rectangular orange and white adhesive labels are present on the exterior, likely relating to inventory or pricing.
