Kevin Platt 'Harbour Scene' (Signed) and a Collection of Artworks - A collection of framed artworks and needlepoints including a principal work by Kevin Platt. The primary piece is a print on textured board depicting a harbour scene with several masted sailing ships moored alongside a stone quay and historic waterfront buildings. The work is signed Kevin Platt in the lower right corner. It is housed in a dark wood frame with a wide burlap-textured fabric mat and a gold-tone fillet. The collection further includes two needlepoint pictures: one depicting a pair of songbirds with orange and blue plumage perched on branches against a neutral ground, and another showing a naturalistic bird subject. Also present is a landscape work on paper featuring a solitary leafless tree under a pale sky, presented in a multi-tiered wooden frame with a cream mount. The various frames throughout the group include stained wood and gilt-edged moldings. An orange adhesive label bearing the handwritten number 417 is attached to the upper left of the Kevin Platt print's matting.
