A Vintage Two-Tone Metal Storage Box - A rectangular storage box constructed from folded sheet metal, featuring a two-tone painted finish. The exterior top and the interior are finished in a copper-toned or reddish-brown paint, while the front panel is finished in a cream or off-white colour. The box is fitted with a hinged lid and a stamped metal tension latch on the front. Two internal supports are visible on the left and right sides of the interior, and two irregular patches of grey adhesive residue or solder are present on the interior back wall. A black flexible handle is attached to the front panel via metal rivets. The latch mechanism is secured by two rivets to the cream-coloured front panel. A small metal tab is located on the top edge of the lid to engage with the latch. There are no maker’s marks, labels, or stamps visible on the interior or exterior surfaces.
