Bidspirit auction | A Collection of Smoked Glass

A Collection of Smoked Glass Ovenware and a Cobalt Blue Enamel Lidded Pot - An assortment of mid-century style kitchenware comprising oven-to-table smoked glass dishes and a small enamel pot. The collection includes three nested fluted tart or flan dishes in dark smoked grey glass, featuring distinctive wavy rims. Accompanying these is a set of nested smoked glass casserole dishes, consisting of a deep round dish with integral lug handles, a coordinating lid with a recessed handle, and a shallower round dish. Also included is a large, flat-bottomed rectangular serving tray in matching smoked glass with raised edges and integral handles. The lot is completed by a small, cylindrical lidded pot finished in a vibrant cobalt blue enamel over metal, featuring a chrome-effect rim and two D-shaped handles. There are no legible maker's marks or backstamps visible on the glass or enamel surfaces. A fluorescent orange adhesive label is present on the rectangular dish, bearing the handwritten digits 215.
