Wounded Badge in Black 1939 Maker L/21
The black wound badge (Verwundeten-Abzeichen, Schwarz) was the lowest of the three classes and was awarded for one or two wounds.1939 pattern, die stamped, magnetic sheet metal construction, holl ow backed badge with a black wash. The badge is in the form of an embossed, vertically oval, laurel leaf wreath encompassing an embossed profile of an M35 pattern helmet with a high relief, canted, swastika to the center, superimposed over crossed swords on a pebbled base field. Complete pin and catch assembly. German WW2 Wounded Badge in Black 1939 Maker L/21.(Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz). Maker (Hersteller): L/21 Forster & Barth Pforzheim.
Condition: From the battlefield, with traces of hard wear. Repaired clasp (pin). As the pictures shown.
