Mein Kampf with Dedication - Possible SS Owned. This is a 1938 People's Edition. Dedicated to a "Harold", it was gifted and signed by a person by the name of Alvin and dated 1939. There is a loose note inside dated 2008 stating that according to Hal Miller (the original owner of the book), "Alvin is actually Max Wunche. Interestingly, Max Wünsche (20 April 1914 – 17 April 1995) was a member of the SS of Nazi Germany and a regimental commander in the Waffen-SS during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The mystery is, why would Max sign the book under the name Alvin? It's a neat Mein Kampf with an interesting dedication.
