This sale features a selection of mid-century and Danish modern furniture, including pieces by Jens Risom, Kip Stewart, Paul McCobb and Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Among the other lots on offer are a Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano, several shipbuilder's models, silver including Georg Jensen and a Wang Hing & Co. Chinese export box, two Rolex watches, a Franz Bergman cold painted bronze and a large selection of ethnographic and tribal items, including jewelry, masks and statues.

Wooden Scepter or Wand West African
West African scepter or wand. Tapering in the middle, cylindrical handgrip with geometric patterns, delicate line work above and below cylindrical handgrip. Geometric patterning repeats on the top of the pole. Top carved in semi circle/ovoid with symmetrical cut outs along the edge.
Wear from age. Wood stained darker. Cracking from wear along the shaft. Broken on the bottom, possibility of the staff being taller.
