Willow Auction House is proud to present The Angela Gross Folk Collection. Featuring more than 400 lots from the estate of New Jersey collector Angela Gross Folk, the sale includes fine and costume jewelry, silver, furniture, artwork, rugs, decorative items, vintage clothing and bags, coins, and more.

Born in Hoboken, New Jersey in the 1930s, Angela Gross Folk (nee Nappi) grew to develop a deep passion for art in all its forms. For four decades, Angela and her husband, Dr. Robert Gross, spent much of their time at local antique shops and auction houses around New Jersey and New York City, building an impressive and diverse collection. Angela passed away in 2022.

Select items from the collection have previously been sold at Sotheby's, Neal, Toomey, and Freeman's. The selection of items up for auction at Willow includes a large collection of silver pieces, with several sterling pieces by Tiffany & Co. Makers, as well as a Barbour "Bacchus" cocktail shaker, two Danish modern flatware sets by Cohr in the "Trinita" pattern, and a large selection of coin, sterling and Continental peices among the highlights. Fine jewelry includes a Cartier 18k gold, sapphire, turquoise and diamond owl pin and a platinum and diamond engagement ring, and the collection also features a large selection of vintage costume pieces, including Trifari and Nolan Miller.

The estate also includes a large selection of artwork. A collection of paintings by Joachim Probst, a drawing by Elsie Driggs and a Jay Hall Connaway landscape are featured along with several Barbara Shermund cartoons. Coins, glass and porcelain decorative items, furniture, and vintage clothing and handbags round out the sale.
