Invitation to the Wedding of the Lost Son of the Admo"r, the Author of Zichron Ya'akov of Dej. Bánffyhunyad, 1942.
Invitation to the wedding of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet, son of the fifth Admo"r of the Dej dynasty, and the bride, a daughter of Rabbi Baruch Freund, Av Beit Din of Bánffyhunyad.
The Rebbe of Dej had two sons, Rabbi Chaim Baruch and Rabbi Menachem Mendel - this bridegroom. They were deported during the Holocaust to Ukraine and their trail was lost. Their father, the Rebbe, refused to leave his community, and was martyred in Auschwitz on 14 Sivan, 1944. The wedding's host was his in-law, Rabbi Baruch Freund.
