Letter from Rabbi Mendel Meir Morgenstern, among the European refugees in Japan, to Rabbi Moshe Rothenberg from Cincinnati, Ohio, 1941.
Specifications: [1], airmail postcard. 14x9 cm. One stamp is printed on the postcard and the second is stuck to it. Yiddish. The letter was sent by Y. Weisel on behalf of M. Morgenstern.
Unique Features: The writer notes that there is no way to immigrate to Israel and describes what they are undergoing and their attempts to attain a visa to the United States, which have yet to be successful because of a past mistake and due to the Consul being an "entirely evil man."
