Work regarding the anatomy of the human body. At the conclusion there is a large piece of cardboard, shaped like the human body, with different parts of the body that can be taken apart and put together according to the internal layers of the body, with explanations.
Shaul Tchernichovsky [1875-1943] was a doctor, Hebrew poet and translator. The public is less aware of his medical background. He began his medical studies at the University of Heidelberg and finished them in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 1910, he opened a clinic in St. Petersburg. During the First World War, he served as military doctor in Minsk. After the war, he served as a physician for the Red Cross. His request in 1922 to secure a position as doctor in Palestine was rejected. As far as known, this is the only medical book translated into Hebrew by Tchernichovsky.
