The Messiah in the gates of Jerusalem. Hand-painted, ceramic tile. 20th century
Hand-painted ceramic tile [mounted on cloth-covered cardboard], depicting the Messiah riding on a donkey in the gates of Jerusalem, with a messenger blowing a Shofar before him and the nation gathering around the Temple Mount. According to a woodcut from 1629.
