Colored lithograph calendar for [1909-1910], Jerusalem.
Calendar at center, along with greetings in six languages, blessing in Hebrew printed with the signature of Rosh Yeshiva and kabalist Rabbi Menachem Menchin Heilperin. Illustration of the yeshiva building topped by three Torah crowns. Border primarily consisting of verses, the bottom right of the border features an illustration of the Western Wall, to the left is the tomb of the kings of the Davidian dynasty.
The Torat Chaim Yeshiva was founded in 1886 by Rabbi Yitzchak Vinograd and his brother-in-law Rabbi Zerach Epstein. It was located in the Old City of Jerusalem, on the site currently used by Yeshivat Ateret Kohanim. Almost all prominent Jerusalem sages studied there, including Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank, Rabbi Aryeh Levin and his son-in-law Rabbi Elyashiv, Rabbi Chaim Naeh and others.
