Sefer Yalkut Menachem - precious gems hidden in concealed treasures - antique letters from elder geonim. Compiled by and with glosses from 'Menachem Mendel Biber of Ostroh, known for his book Mazkeret L'Gedolei Ostroh (Berdichov, 1907). Vilna, 1903.
The sefer includes archived essays and letters, printed by the author. The second chapter, "Divrei Shmuel, " deals with the Chassidic controversy and contains a letter from Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke of Nikolsburg to the sages of Brody with respect to their opposition to Chassidism.
Lengthy literary dedication on the back of the title page, covering the entire page, from the author to Rabbi Aharon son of the gaon Rabbi Yuzpa Ginsburgsky.

Fine condition. Aging stains. Tear without lack in the margins of the title page. The binding and some of the leaves are partially detached.
