* Sha'ar HaTefillah, first edition, by the Admo"r Rabbi Chaim of Chernowitz - one of the leading Admo"rim of the generation, author of Sidduro shel Shabbat and Be'er Mayim Chayim. On the title page: "Mohilev [actually: Sudylkiv, 1825]. With a compilation about reciting "Leshem Yichud." This work on prayer was written by him in the Land of Israel "and has the sanctity of the Living Land." The book was printed just a  few years after his passing. Stefansky. Chassidut 583.


Copy 1: Present in this copy: Leaves 2-10: 1-52, 55-102, 21 cm. Includes leaves 3-10 (in the first pagination), a lengthy 'responsum' in which the author criticizes the words of Rabbi Yechezkel Landau, author of Noda BiYehudah, objecting to Chassidic prayer customs and their texts. (Lacking: title page, leaves 53-54, and three index leaves at the end of the book. The approbation leaf is blemished and partially lacking.)


* Copy 2: Present in this copy: Leaves 3-10: 1-13, 16-102, 113-114, 21 cm. Includes leaves 3-10 (in the first pagination), a lengthy 'responsum' in which the author criticizes the words of Rabbi Yechezkel Landau, author of Noda BiYehudah objecting to Chassidic prayer customs and their texts. (Lacking: the title page and the approbation leaf, leaves 14-15, and leaf 116.)


* Noam Elimelech by Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk, with Likkutei Shoshanah and an additional leaf - 'Sodot' by the sage Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Gikatilla. Polonne, 1804. Rare fourth edition of the renowned Chassidic segulah book. Stefansky, 377.

Present in this copy: Leaves 5-96: 16, 20 cm. (Lacking: the first [2] leaves, leaves 1-4 of the first pagination.) Leaves [1-3] from the 1814 Polonne edition were added to complete the book.
