Alim LiTerufah by the Gr"a / Sha'arei Kedushah by Rabbi Chaim Vital. Aleppo, 1866. Signatures and Gloss

Iggeret HaGr"a printed in Aleppo: Sefer Alim LiTerufah - Iggeret Mussar by the Ramba"m and Iggeret Mussar by Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna [the Gr"a]. Aleppo, 1866

There are several differences between the well-known Ashkenazic version of the Iggeret and this version, printed in Aleppo. Apparently, these were not printing errors that occurred in Aleppo, but a transcription from a different text they had in their possession.

8 leaf, 14 cm. Vinograd, HaGr"a, 1150. Ya'ari,  Aram Tzova 2.

Printed and bound with:

Sha'arei Kedushah - mussar by Rabbi Chaim Vital, Aleppo, 1866. The title page bears rabbinic signatures in an Oriental script. Leaf 17 bears a one-word gloss.

[4] 48 leaf, 14.5 cm. Ya'ari Aram Tzoba 1. 14 cm.

Overall fine condition. Aging stains. Light restoration to the title page of Sha'arei Kedushah.
