Yalkut Shimoni - Chaza"l's midrashim on Torah, Nevi'im and Ketuvim, attributed to Rabbi Shimon, head darshan of Frankfurt. Frankfurt am Main, 1687. Two volumes.
The first part includes an illustrated title page depicting Moshe and Aharon, and under them, the figures of King David and Goliath the Philistine.
The first title page bears a cropped owner's signature: " ... the lowly Nathan Nota son of ... Rabbi Yeshayah ztzllh"h."
Glosses written in his hand on the book's leaves. In one gloss, he quotes Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke of Nikolsburg.
